TECHNUCAL PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

This programme teaches the skills of a bespoke cutter, the essentials of pattern drafting and cutting, a broad spectrum of figurations and ways to correct them, cloth cutting, fitting and remarking.

Becoming a master-tailor encompasses the making of a jacket, trousers, waistcoat, and overcoat (in different sartorial variations).

Students will need to execute the theoretical learning by way of learning first-hand how to measure, draft, cut, and configure their bespoke ART.

in the process, Students will complete and master the making of a handpadded and handfinished three-piece suit in addition to learning how to make a sports jacket in single breasted and double breasted configurations.

Students will be introduced to a variety of tailoring techniques - they will learn an extensive range of hand stitches, machine stitching, how to shape the foundation of a tailored piece, design, garment balance, illustration, and tailor a variety of relevent pocket styles as well as hand shaping lapels and collars, handmake buttonholes, and set structured and natural shoulder lines as well as making roped sleeves and other variations such as spalla camicia.

moreover, Students will learn the making of soft-structured tailoring and will be familiarized with different cuts and styles of tailoring such as the Neapolitan soft jacketing and the drape cut.
