concerning our tailors

The tailors that SYLLOGOS Beirut collaborates with are specialized Lebanese artisans, each averaging forty years of experience in bespoke drafting and cutting. Their craft draws on heritage construction and artisanship that harks back decades.

Their praxis is married to the sartorial design ethos of SYLLOGOS, resulting in meticulous aesthetics and intricately tailored facades attuned to classical modernism.

concerning our tailors support

Our discursive exchange with our tailors goes beyond the production line. It is rooted in a shared affinity built over years of dialogue on matters of tailoring and craft.

That is to say, the prime reason behind founding SYLLOGOS is not only to retrieve and modernize sartorial praxis and design in Lebanon, but also to place Lebanese tailors under a long-overdue spotlight—supporting them as they navigate increasingly precarious conditions.

Most of our tailors have lost their ateliers or workspaces due to the country’s difficult economic climate, and now operate from their homes in less-than-ideal working conditions. To this end, 65% of the proceeds from each tailored piece goes directly to its maker.
