WHY BECOME A VOLUNTEER

At BTA, volunteers are the cornerstone to building a community and contributing to the dissemination of the value of sartorial tailoring in Lebanon. Taking part in our activities and initiatives contributes to the prolongation of principles such as heritage, youth education and career-building as well as support to Lebanese tailors.

We aim to activate a volunteering system that welcomes a wide variety of abilities, skills, and expertise that could help fulfill BTA’s missions: if you want to take part in an socially impactful project, or if you are among the aficionados of bespoke tailoring or artisanat in general, or if you seek to embody your passion for Lebanese heritage in a community activities - then you will find at BTA different initiatives where your talents can make a difference.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Atelier-centered activities (i.e. educational), personal tutoring or supervision of students which would enrich their learning experience;

• Contribute to constructing the pillars of a tailoring community based on an appreciation of the craft;

• Contribute to the technical activities of BTA such as video shooting, photography, or media coverage

• Enlarge the students’ skills if you have a background in textile, fashion design, illustration, graphic design, or even marketing/advertisement.
